QT Information Systems, Inc. recommends using the latest version of Windows Media Player to play FuturesLine live and archived content.
If your computer is not properly opening FuturesLine content it may be because of conflicts between different media software on your computer. Follow the steps below to set the default media player on your Microsoft Windows computer to use Windows Media Player.

A high speed Internet connection is required to get the best experience from FuturesLine. FuturesLine requires approximately 25Kbps to stream without interuption. If you experience buffering (where audio starts and stops intermittently), check with your Internet provider or network administrator. Your network access may also be saturated by other programs or users on your network.
Many factors can lead to a live stream being delayed and appearing to fall behind, including internal buffers in your media player and the Internet speed and performance capabilities of your individual machine. The most common solution for a delayed live stream is to simply close the media player window and re-launch the stream from the website.
Most often, delayed streams have been left on for a long period of time. We recommend you close the media player when not listening to the stream and not leave the player connected around the clock. In our experience, starting the live stream fresh each morning greatly reduces quality and delay issues.
