Jason Linn is an original member of the FuturesLine team and provides an overview of grain options with an emphasis on corn. His comments include information on implied volatility, players and directional opinion. He offers trade ideas and strategies for producers, users and speculators.
Jason is a Corn Options broker. He started his career as a filling broker in the corn option pit of the CBOT in 1998, where he fills customer orders for various FCMs and independent traders. His direct headset number is available for size orders only, with the electronic clerk available for all orders from all clearing and non-clearing members. He is a respected Board of Trade personality, which is demonstrated through his membership in the Corn Options Pit Committee. He writes a daily corn option commentary for clients and large traders.
Jason began as a runner/clerk on the CBOT grain floor in the late 80s during his high school and college summers. In the summer of 2005, Jason moved up to a full membership at the CBOT and is able to execute real futures covered against options for sophisticated traders and large funds within the corn option pit.
Jason graduated from St. Norbert's College in DePere, Wisconsin with a degree in Business Administration. He currently resides in Hinsdale, IL, with his wife and two children.
