From "Exchanges/Categories" bar you can choose an exchange or a category. To see categories press "Categories" button; to see exchanges press "Exchanges" button - the buttons will switch.

In the figure the "Exchanges" button is inactive, this means that the exchanges are visible. If you select an exchange or category, the symbols for that exchange or category will be loaded in the list of symbols called "Symbol".

After you have chosen an exchange or category you have a symbol list. Now, you can select one contract or multiple contracts depending on the module you are in. In some modules you work with one contract, in others you can have many contracts. If you are in a module that works with only one contract, then select a symbol, a month, a year and then press "Ok".

If you are in a module that works with multiple contracts you have to select a symbol or a list of symbols, then you select a month or a list of months and then you select the year. You are not allowed to select more than one month if you have selected a list of symbols; the same for symbols: you are not allowed to select more than one symbol if you have selected a list of months. You cannot have many symbols and many months at the same time.

In this example I have chosen the symbol "ED - E-Mini SP index (Electronic)" with two months: March and June for the year 2006. Now, if none of the "Options" or "Spreads" buttons are toggled, if you press the Insert button, the selected contracts from the left side will be added in the list of the selected contracts (both: ESM6 and ESH6).

If the "Options" button is toggled, the options contracts for the selected contract (6JH06 in the screenshot) will be loaded in the list below the "Options" and "Spreads" buttons; if you press the Insert button, the selected options contract (s) will be added in the list of selected contracts.

If the "Spreads" button is toggled, the spread contracts for selected contract will be loaded in the list below the "Options" and "Spreads" buttons; if you press the Insert button, the selected spread contract(s) will be added in the list of selected contracts.

To delete contracts from the list of selected contracts, select the contracts you want to delete and then press the Remove button.

If you agree with the selected contract(s) click "Ok".

You can choose to print a list of symbols by pressing the "Print" button in top of the screen.
